Racism (n): prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

Yesterday, while scrolling through my timeline I came across this video by Joyner Lucas that literally left me speechless.  For the first time I had witnessed a clear and accurate perspective on the embedded hatred that  white and black people have for each other, and where it originates. Now, I have had this conversation many times among my personal friend groups, but to see it executed so beautifully on camera was truly shifting for the culture.

When you watch the first few minutes of this video, especially if you're a person of color, your immediate reaction may be "Oh hell naw," but stick it through until the end to catch this powerful message.

The conversations that this video provokes is needed, and very necessary. I just hope people get it.
